Project's area of ​​activity.


General objective: To promote the diversification of agro-extractive production with sustainable management through the collective structuring of families within the Solidarity Economy-based Sustainable Family Farming Cooperative - COPABASE, covering the Urucuia River basin region, one of the main tributaries of the São Francisco.

Specific objectives:

  • Disseminate sustainable technologies and practices of agro-extractive production, food security and socioeconomic organization in the regions of the Urucuia and Grande Sertão valleys.
  • Develop actions to promote, preserve and conserve the biodiversity of the Cerrado Urucuiano through the involvement of rural families, ADRS and network of partner organizations.

Support amount: U$ 257,455.85

Duration: 39 months (April 2018 to June 2021)
