The WebEnvironment was launched this year and is an interactive information system that aims to facilitate the storage and search for information on technological solutions for landscape use, restoration and restoration in Legal Reserve and Permanent Preservation Areas at the national level. The system also aims to support the implementation of the new Forest Code by stimulating the use of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) and gathers information on seed collection, seedling production and ecological restoration plantations.
The highlights of the new tool are the Environmental Recomposition Simulator, which provides specific suggestions for recomposing areas. And the extensive and updated list of native flora species which can be accessed by biome, plant formation and phytophysiognomy with indications of the species that can be used in the recomposition processes.
This initiative is part of a joint action between Embrapa and the Secretariat of Extractivism and Sustainable Rural Development (MMA), in cooperation with various specialists from different partner institutions.
