Michael becker
Team Leader of the Regional Implementation Team – CEPF Cerrado
Bachelor and Masters in Environmental Engineering (2003) from the Technical University of Cottbus (Germany) with emphasis in environmental economics and water resources management. In August 2003, he began his work at WWF-Brazil as a technician for the Water for Life Program, taking over the coordination of the Cerrado-Pantanal Program from 2010. Within the scope of these programs, he encouraged the continuous monitoring of the vegetation cover of the Upper Paraguay; the strengthening of responsible production chains in livestock and charcoal production; encouraging the creation of RPPNs and strengthening Protected Area Mosaics. In August 2012, he was promoted to conservation superintendent and had several programs under his responsibility. In 2014 he assumed new responsibilities in an environmental consulting. He is currently responsible for the Regional Implementation Team (RIT) of the Cerrado Hotspot Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) at the Brazilian International Institute of Education (IEB).

Claudia Sachetto
Grants Manager of the Regional Implementation Team – CEPF Cerrado
Bachelor In Language Studies - Translation (English) from the University of Brasilia, Specialization in Ecotourism from the University of Brasilia, Specialization in Environmental Education from the National Learning Service and MBA in Environmental Management from the Federal University of Paraná. She held leadership positions at Trilha Mundos Cooperative - Socio-Environmental Projects (2005-2014), working in the preparation, management, execution and fundraising for the institution's projects. From 2015 to 2018, she served as Special Advisor and Coordinator at the State Department of the Environment of the Federal District. She is currently part of the Cerrado Hotspot's Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) Regional Implementation Team (RIT) as Grant Manager.

Aryanne Gonçalves Amaral
Project Assistant of the Regional Implementation Team – CEPF Cerrado
Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Catholic University of Brasilia, Master and PhD in Botany from the University of Brasilia. Currently is Assistant of Program CEPF Cerrado at IEB. She worked at the Brazilian Foundation for Sustainable Development (FBDS) as a researcher and consultant, collaborating with the implementation of the Brazilian Diagnosis on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services and mapping the project supporting the implementation of CAR in the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest biomes. She was a researcher at the National Institute of Atlantic Forest (INMA) in the area of ​​knowledge of flora biodiversity and visiting researcher at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center (Leiden, the Netherlands), where she developed the project to study biodiversity and biogeographic patterns for the Cerrado flora. She worked at the Bioeste Institute, where she coordinated the Protected Areas unit, being responsible for implementing the Producing and Conserving project, carried out in partnership with Conservation International (CI-Brazil), municipalities, producers and rural communities in the region. She also worked in environmental consultancies to elaborate environmental management plans and reports.

Michael Jackson from Oliveira Alves
Project Assistant of the Regional Implementation Team – CEPF Cerrado
Bachelor of Environmental Sciences from the University of Brasilia, with emphasis on Environmental Economics. Worked in the junior company of the course, with reports and writing of environmental projects. Accumulated experience in geoprocessing by the National Water Agency in the area of granting and also in tools for collecting, processing and analyzing project information. He is currently Project Assistant at CEPF Cerrado.
