THE Ecosystem Service Partnership aims to improve communication, coordination and cooperation and build a strong network of individuals and organizations.
The Network was established in 2008 by the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics (University of Vermont, USA) and is now being coordinated by Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD) (Wageningen, the Netherlands). ESP is an organization based on institutional and individual members.
Since 2016, the network has been organizing alternate and regional world conferences. The last ESP9 World Conference was in Shenzhen, China, in 2017. In 2016, the Latin American conference was in Colombia.
